International Journal of Meat Science is a newly launched peer-reviewed scientific journal dedicated to publishing high-quality research that describe the most significant and cutting-edge research in all areas of meat science. Scope of the journal includes: Production, preparation, processing, cooking, consumption, quality, composition, nutritional values and consumer acceptability.

About Editor-in-Chief
Dr. Prabhat Kumar Mandal born in 1967, got BVSc&AH from BCKV, Kolkata, in 1991 and did his MVSc & PhD majoring in Meat Technology from IVRI, Bareilly in 1993 and 1996, respectively. He received National Scholarship (1984-1991)duringHigh School and UG studies. He was awarded JRF (1991-1993) and SRF (1993-1996) during Master's and Doctoral studies from ICAR. He joined as Assistant Professor from September 1996, in Rajiv Gandhi Veterinary College, Pondicherry and was Promoted to Associate Professor in March, 2005 and Associate Professor, Senior Grade from March, 2008. He worked as Visiting Professor in Hankyong National University, South Korea and Konkuk University, Seoul from March, 2008 to February, 2010. Dr. Mandal is engaged in teaching (UG & PG) research on different areas of Meat Science and Technology since last 20 years. Dr. Mandal has more than 100 publications in National and International Journals of repute, seminar/symposium etc.
